1 Project on the topic: “Birds of our region” in the middle group Author of the project: educators: Ivanova E.L., Ogurtsova E.G., teacher defectologist I.E. Morozova Project type: educational, short-term, group. Project implementation time: from November 2016 Project participants: middle school children, educators, parents, defectologist teacher. Project goal: To expand children's knowledge about the birds of their native land, their way of life, their connection with the environment, and the role of humans in the life of birds. Raising children's emotional and positive attitude towards birds. Project objectives: - to clarify ideas about familiar birds, their habitat conditions, the role of humans in the life of birds: external signs of birds, features of the external structure that allow them to fly. - develop observation and cognitive activity of children. — to cultivate a caring attitude towards feathered friends, a desire to help in difficult winter conditions. Relevance In our difficult age, when environmental issues are more important than ever, the problem of environmental education of the younger generation is one of the most pressing. It is during the period of preschool childhood that the formation of the human personality and the formation of the beginnings of ecological culture take place. Therefore, it is very important to awaken children’s interest in living nature, cultivate a love for it, and teach them to take care of the world around them.

2 In this project we looked at different types of birds that are found in our region. We often don't notice these little birds, but when we get to know them better, we realize that they do a lot of useful things. In our work, we examined the behavioral features of some birds. These birds live next to us and bring great benefit and joy to people. It is impossible to glance at birds and immediately look away with an indifferent gaze. Meeting them is always an event. It is truly an amazing sight when we see such different birds among the tree branches. No matter how you rush about your business, you will certainly stand under the tree and admire it. And we must not forget that the birds need our help. Cultivate children's interest in our feathered friends - birds. The desire to learn new facts about their life, to take care of them. Give children knowledge about wintering and migratory birds, about what to feed birds in winter. Create conditions for the child to communicate with the natural world. Working together with parents, we must increase the child's environmental consciousness, stimulating his interest in helping his feathered friends, thereby stimulating the child's feelings. It is very important that the child can evaluate human behavior in nature and express his opinion on this problem. Expected result of the project: By studying the birds of our region and observing birds, helping them, children will expand their knowledge about our smaller friends and develop an emotional attitude towards the natural world. They will learn to be happy, sad, and surprised by natural objects. The world of birds will become an integral part of every person's world. Children will learn to treat themselves as part of nature, and take practical actions to protect nature. Children’s mental abilities develop, which manifest themselves in the ability to analyze and draw conclusions. Children will learn to control their actions and learn to care for birds.

3 Stages of implementation of the project “Birds of our region”. 1. Preparatory stage. At the preparatory stage, the children and I discussed issues related to project and research activities. — Birds, what are they? -What do you know about birds? - How to recognize a bird? — How to divide birds into migratory and wintering ones? — What importance do birds have in human life? To find answers to these questions: - we determined the goal and objectives of the project, - we developed a work schedule, - we studied educational, fiction and methodological literature, - we made a selection of games for children of middle preschool age. 2. Main stage. The children looked at illustrations depicting the birds of our region, read fiction, guessed riddles, learned sayings and tongue twisters, children brought books, fairy tales, and shared new information. During the walk we carefully observed the birds in the spring season. By observing, we found out what birds fly to the territory of the kindergarten.

4 The most interesting thing was the experiment “What will fly away next?” (paper, fabric or bird feather). The children, taking part in the experiment with pleasure, were convinced that the feather flies further than the fabric and paper. We carried out direct educational activities in the following educational areas: cognitive classes on the surrounding world, speech development, reading fiction, FEMP. We learned a lot about the birds of our native land and their way of life. The children learned to draw and sculpt. To raise emotional and muscle tone, create a cheerful, joyful mood, and consolidate knowledge about birds, educational, didactic, active, finger games were carried out: “Divide the birds into migratory and wintering ones”; "Extra picture"; “Guess by the description”; “Sparrows and the car”; "The Fox and the Chickens." Conversations: “Birds are our friends”, “What do you know about birds”, “What do birds eat in winter”, looking at illustrations of birds, memorizing poems and songs. Children, together with their parents, designed albums with photographs and drawings about birds. The children and I made and hung feeders on the territory of the kindergarten. Every day we added different food to the feeder. As a result of the observations, the children learned to: feed birds with various food, take care of migratory friends. 3. Final stage. The result of all the work was a meeting with the librarian of the Central Library named after D.A. Furmanov Foros M.I. During the meeting M.I. spoke about birds in the interesting film “Our Feathered Friends”, the children played, turned into fairy-tale birds, and at the end of the event they made a bird of happiness out of paper. IN

5 As a result of this meeting, the children learned a lot of new things, repeated and consolidated their knowledge about the life of birds. In the implementation of project activities: 1 Children's knowledge about birds expanded; 2. Children learned to distinguish migratory birds from wintering birds. 3. During the implementation of the “Birds are our friends” project, children developed coherent speech. 4. Children learned how to feed birds correctly. 5. Many children developed a caring attitude towards birds (every day, when going for a walk, children were reminded to take food and feed the birds). 6. Children's cognitive interest has increased. Tales about birds. Woodpecker.

Why is the woodpecker respected by all birds and animals? And what would happen if woodpeckers disappeared? This is talked about in the fairy tale “The Woodpecker.”

Woodpecker worker. Tales of Lake Baikal

Birds from all over the taiga flew in and began to scold the woodpecker.

The cuckoo is the angriest of all: “You give me no peace, woodpecker, you knock, you knock!”

“Your knocking makes my head hurt,” the nutcracker complains.

- Idlers, you have ready-made food: flies, mosquitoes, boogers, berries, tree buds, nuts. And I need to chisel the tree, look for beetles under the bark. I save you all, ungrateful ones, I work from morning to night!

The birds whistled, chirped, and chattered angrily: “What!” Are you saving us? - Look, what a braggart! - Let's peck him!

The din of birds was interrupted by a capercaillie - an important bird in the taiga, it does not throw words to the wind. He stamped his foot: “You shouldn’t make a fuss, the woodpecker told the truth!” It protects trees from greedy bark beetles. Without it, they would have devoured all the trees and devastated the taiga. How can we live without the taiga?.. Screamers!

The cuckoo, sitting on a tall pine tree, was the first to sing throughout the whole taiga: “Pucko-coo, woodpecker, peek-a-boo, darling!”

Behind her is a nutcracker: “I praise you, buddy.” Come on - knock, knock.

- Knock-knock - good sound! - the forest pigeon shouted loudly.

The birds surrounded the woodpecker, the violator of the forest silence, and sang in chorus.
