Fairy tale quest for children in primary school - quest “Visiting the fairy tale “Turnip””

Quest based on fairy tales for children in elementary school - “Quest visiting the fairy tale “Turnip””
In order for children to get the maximum positive from spending time together, develop a fun route around the school. Several classes can participate in the quest at once. Just so that they don’t intersect in the same location, they need to start the quest game with a certain time gap.

Ideas for a fun quest route based on fairy tales for elementary school children:

  • The first location is the class that is assigned to the guys
  • Second location - gym
  • Third location - library
  • Fourth location - school hall
  • Fifth location - assembly hall

Quest “Visiting the fairy tale “Turnip””

Assignment for the first location of the fairy tale quest: Invite the children to spell out the name of the fairy tale. Encrypt the letters with riddles. They can be printed on beautiful sheets of paper and simply hung on the walls of the classroom. Start the quest with the simplest task, encrypt the name of the fairy tale “Turnip” with riddles

Riddles for solving words: The burry Volodya doesn’t have this letter, And, of course, it’s very strange, But Polkan does! (Letter R. )

All day long the raccoon of Paradise washes clothes in the stream, washes them, rinses them, and carries them home. Splashes in the stream - Turns into... (into the letter E.)

Parrot, parrot, don't scare Mom and Dad. Don’t look for a bug in the cereal, but find us a letter... (Letter P.)

Cat, cute cat, Play with her a little, With the cat you probably won’t forget... (letter K.)

“Watermelon” and “Almanac” begin with this letter. We all see it in almost all words. (The letter a.)

Assignment for the second location: Print out color pictures of the heroes of the fairy tale “Turnip”. Hide them in different places. Explain to the participants that they will need to open all the pictures and place them as in a fairy tale they come to pull out a turnip. Next, invite the children to complete several tasks. When they complete the task, they will be able to open one picture. When all the pictures are open, you can move on to the third location.

Ideas for tasks:

  • Blowing soap bubbles at speed
  • Agility competition - you can throw and catch the ball
  • Jumping in bags
  • Endurance competition - whoever can do the most pull-ups and push-ups
  • Tug of War
  • You can carry potatoes at speed with a spoon over a certain distance

Tasks for the third location: Inflate balloons and put notes with words in them. Place them throughout the library. The main thing is that children can reach them freely. Invite the children to pop the balloons, take out the notes, and use the resulting words to create quotes from the fairy tale. To move to the next location you will need to add 2-3 quotes.

Quote ideas:

  • Grandfather planted a turnip and said: “Grow, grow, turnip, sweet!”
  • The turnip grew sweet, strong, and big.

The simplest idea on how to quickly make a puzzle for the quest
Assignments for the fourth location : Children come to the school hall and see that it is strewn with small pieces of paper. Among these pieces of paper you will need to find pieces of the puzzle on which the phrase “Assembly Hall” will be written. To complicate the task, scatter other bright pictures in the hall. But don’t divide the main puzzle into very small parts; try to make the letters very bright, for example, red or acidic light green. Children must complete the task quickly enough. If it is difficult for children to understand which word needs to be added, you can give hints in the form of riddles.

Riddle idea:

We perform here on stage, Holidays take place here, we play in KVN here, we sing different songs. (Assembly Hall.)

Assignment for the fifth location: Decorate the stage of the assembly hall so that it resembles a scene from the fairy tale “Turnip”. Divide the children into teams and ask them to quickly pull a turnip out of the ground, a paper turnip, of course. Here the children will have to show how well they know the fairy tale. They will have to play all the fairy-tale characters and go out to pull out the turnip, just like in the fairy tale.

A little reminder for those who don't remember:

Mouse for the cat, Cat for the Bug, Bug for the granddaughter, Granddaughter for the grandmother, Grandmother for the grandfather, Grandfather for the turnip - They pull and pull - and they pulled out the turnip.

The class that completes the task first receives a prize and is awarded a winner's cup. When all the school teams have completed their tasks, you can organize a fun disco together.
